Dietfitelt is back again with it’s easy recipe.
I will be giving you an easy recipe on how to make sausage rolls. This involves stipulated steps such as the equipment needed, ingredients needed and the preparation involved.

Equipment needed for making sausage rolls

Oven

Bowl

Tray pan

Blender

Muller & pestle.

Knife.

Etc.

Ingredients needed for making sausage rolls

 

300 g of all purpose flour.

2 tbsp of baking powder.

300g of satis sausage.

150g of butter.

1 small stock cube.

1/2 nutmeg.

1/2 tbsp of salt.

1 medium sized egg.

Water.

Preparation of the sausage rolls

 

First, we have to prepare the sausage filling.

You probably don’t like the taste of the sausage which is why these ingredient was added to the list to make the sausage filling taste better ( 1 small stock cube and 1/2 nutmeg).

I prefer to mash the sausage with these two ingredients so that it can be easy to blend.

So mash the sausage,1 small stock cube and 1/2 nutmeg together and blend it into a smooth paste for the sausage rolls.

How to make the sausage rolls dough

 

Put the 300g of flour in a bowl, add the 1/2 tbsp of salt and the baking powder and mix them first without water.

Use your hands or spoon to collect the butter in bit and rub it into the mixed flour so as to make things easier while mixing.

Add the water little by little and keep mixing.

Turn on the oven to 170c in order to keep it ready and bake the sausage roll fast.

Grease the tray pan with the butter and sprinkle a little flour on it so it doesn’t get sticky.

Now, roll out the dough with a rolling pin.

Use a knife to make a rectangle shape on the dough.

Add in some sausage filling to the dough and fold. The fold is as easy as you fold your mat.

Cut the sausage roll to your desired shape.

Repeat this till the dough does finish.

Break the egg and apply on the sausage rolls surface to make it look glazing.

After applying the egg on it, put tray pan containing the undone sausage rolls in the oven and keep checking on it till it gets brown.

When it gets brown, turn off the oven and bring out the sausage rolls, allow it to cool a bit and enjoy!!.
