Meditating daily has always been a better way to start you day.

Any time of the day you meditate is definitely ok but meditation are best when done in the morning.

Meditating in the morning helps get your day started.

Before you start meditating, you can have a cup of black coffee to help you to focus and concentrate while meditating.

You should meditate at least once or twice a day.

Here are the reason why you should meditate daily.

Increased Mental Clarity and Focus

If we are mindful and focused on the present moment, we are fully engaged in present action. Think of how amazing all your work would be if you were completely focused on it, and not caught up in the chatter of your mind, or impulsively checking your cell phone or social media every five minutes.(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)

Meditation helps us unplug and tune in to what’s going on beneath the surface of our thoughts. Over time, this becomes a subconscious habit that results in increased mental clarity and focus, and your memory and mental acuity will improve too.

Reduces Stress

Stress reduction is one of the most common reasons people try meditation.

Normally, mental and physical stress cause increased levels of the stress hormone cortisol. This produces many of the harmful effects of stress, such as the release of inflammation-promoting chemicals called cytokines.

These effects can disrupt sleep, promote depression and anxiety, increase blood pressure and contribute to fatigue and cloudy thinking.(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)

Research has shown that meditation may also improve symptoms of stress-related conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder and fibromyalgia.

So meditation is definitely a proficient way to deal with stress.

Better sleep

Meditation practice helps the body learn to relax, a benefit that continues when it’s time to hit the hay. It also trains the mind to settle the attention on an object such as the breath and allow other thoughts and emotions to float by like clouds on a pleasant day.

There are also guided meditations that are designed to promote sleep. Harvard Medical School suggests that focusing on a phrase such as “breathe in calm, breathe out tension” beats counting sheep when it’s time to sleep.

It make you more creative

You will definitely realize this when you instill meditation into your daily.

Meditation does give you inspiration on how to tackle with things or situations and get better at it.

Meditation makes you visualize and helps you becomes so creative than you can imagine.

Controls Anxiety

Less stress translates to less anxiety.

For example, an eight-week study of mindfulness meditation helped participants reduce their anxiety.

It also reduced symptoms of anxiety disorders, such as phobias, social anxiety, paranoid thoughts, obsessive-compulsive behaviors and panic attacks.

Another study followed up with 18 volunteers three years after they had completed an eight-week meditation program. Most volunteers had continued practicing regular meditation and maintained lower anxiety levels over the long term.

A larger study in 2,466 participants also showed that a variety of different meditation strategies may reduce anxiety levels.(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)

For example, yoga has been shown to help people reduce anxiety. This is likely due to benefits from both meditative practice and physical activity.

Meditation may also help control job-related anxiety in high-pressure work environments. One study found that a meditation program reduced anxiety in a group of nurses.

It increases happiness

“Meditation puts you on the fast track to being happy.

Studies have shown that brain signaling increases in the left side of the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for positive emotions, while activity decreases in the right side, responsible for negative emotions, Newman says.

The other benefits of meditation, including increased self-awareness and acceptance, also contribute to improved overall well-being.

It slows aging

Studies show that meditation changes brain physiology to slow aging. “Cognition seems to be preserved in meditators,” says Sara Lazar, a researcher at Harvard University.

Lazar adds that meditators also have more gray matter – literally, more brain cells. Lazar’s colleague, Elizabeth Hoge, did a study that showed that meditators also have longer telomeres, the caps on chromosomes indicative of biological age (rather than chronological).

That meditation lengthens life “may be a bit of a stretch,” Hoge says. “But there is something about meditation that is associated with longer telomeres … [perhaps that] it reduces stress and its effects on the body.

Lowered blood pressure

Another benefit for people who practice meditation for health reasons is that mindfulness meditation has been shown to help control blood pressure. According to a study reported in the British Medical Journal, patients who practiced meditation-based exercises had considerably lower blood pressure than those in the control group.(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)(WHY YOU SHOULD MEDITATE DAILY)

Experts believe that meditation reduces the body’s responsiveness to cortisol and other stress hormones, which is similar to how blood pressure reducing medications work. It’s one of meditation’s great health blessings.

Meditation improve your ability to make decisions

There’s a reason high powered executives turn to meditation to help them do their jobs better. Studies have found that both mindfulness meditation and Transcendental Meditation help you make better decisions by improving the functioning of your brain’s decision-making centers. If you want to start cultivating your inner executive, give meditation a try.

There are lots of challenges you can deal with through meditation and some which i have listed above.
So including mediation into your lifestyle will do your life much better.
