How to build big hamstrings.

 

Building a decent size of hamstrings tend to be difficult due to some reasons i don’t really know but what i believe is that with constant training you can bring up the size of your hamstring.

So in this article am going to show you how to build big hamstrings.

Stiffed leg dumbell press-

This exercise is tagged stiffed leg due to your feet are locked together while performing this exercise.

How to perform this exercise ( How to build big hamstrings)

Pick a heavy dumbell you can make movements with, lock you feet together while standing and then bend dropping the tip of the dumbell on the floor and go back up with the dumbell.

While performing this exercise, try as much as possible to connect with your hamstring muscle so as to target it well.

You have to engage the muscle.
It is literally not just moving the dumbell up and downwards.

Standing leg curl-

This is exercise is performed with one leg after the other.
Meaning you can’t train two leg at a times with the machine.

How to perform this exercise ( How to build big hamstrings)

Stand straight and place the leg you want to train were suppose to and then place your hand on the machine for balance so as to target your ham string perfectly.

Lying leg curl-

This is exercise in particular is pretty effective when it comes hitting the hamstrings perfectly.

How to perform this exercise ( How to build big hamstrings)

Lie down on the leg curl machine and place your leg under the leg curl and curl and make sure to squeeze hard.

On your last set while curling, try to drop the curl slowly as this tend to sore the hamstring muscles.

Stiffed barbell deadlift-

Just as explained above on the stiffed dumbell deadlift.

To perform this stiffed barbell deadlift you have to put your feet together and then pull the barbell up. While doing this, feel or connect with your hamstrings muscle so that you can perform the exercise perfectly.
