So in this post am going to tell you the causes of insomnia,how it affects the body and best solutions to it. Let’s get started.

                  Causes of insomnia
Anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling you get when you are anticipating for something Or a feelings that something might happen or take place.It could be good or bad.
This feeling keeps your spirit alert.
And this feeling can make you sleepless.You keep thinking on what
would happen if this goes wrong or good.

2)Depression

Mood plays a big role in getting your self a sound sleep.When you are depressed, you don’t feel that urge to sleep.
Sleep is meant to be enjoyed but when your mood is depressing, there no way you can get any sleep.
All kind of feeling is attached to depression-Hate,sadness, overthinking. etc.
No matter the situation you find yourself always find a way to uplift yourself so as to get a good sleep.

3)Intake-

What you take into your bodysystem determines how your sleep is going to go down.
Intake such as heavy food,alcohol,caffeine.

Heavy food

-Eating heavy meals before bedtime can lead to discomfort and the body will find it hard to relax

ALCOHOL

Alcohol can get you fall asleep but will eventually disrupt your sleep by waking in the middle of night and then finding it hard to go back to sleep.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a stimulant.This stimulant gets you to stay fully
awake,which can be found in the coffee we drink.

4)Being hard on yourself

When finding it hard to sleep,being too disturbed is wouldn’t solve the problem.
This would frustrate you the more.

            SOLUTIONS TO INSOMNIA 

Anxiety

-Try as much as possible to eliminate any feelings of anxiety in you.Try to relax yourself.Forget about everything.Keep your mind mute.

Depression-

In this state,try to encourage yourself.Know that if you aren’t getting enough sleep you are doing your system more harm.

Intake

Watch what you take into your system.Your intake affects your sleep either for good or bad.
Avoid heavy meal.Go for light meal such as taking fruits.Avoid taking caffeine before going to bed.Avoid taking alcohol too.
Try lying down with your stomach.I find this very effective
Play yourself some cool music
Try slowing down your breath a little
Like you are about sleep.This would help get you in the mood.
Avoid going through your Electronic device(phone,tv, playstation etc) 1 hour before bed.
Switch the lights off before going to bed.
