11 MISTAKES PEOPLE DO IN THE GYM WITHOUT KNOWING
I go to the gym on daily basis and atimes I take my time to observe on whats going in the gym.A lot of funny stuff do happen in the gym, like I know you must have seen some funny video from the gym which is mostly how wrong people handle weights, get to injured on and embarrass theirself. Also going to gym with some friends who are new to the gym gave me a clear view of mistakes people do in the gym daily which I helped put them on the right track.
So here are 11 mistakes people do in the gym without knowing.
1)Not having a workout program-
Not having a workout program would cause you a lot.It would cause you not seeing better results due to you don’t have any target for the day, you’re always doing the same thing everyday and there no how you can see result with that.So its best to get a workout program to keep you focused.A workout program helps you get better results in due time. Here is what a workout program is like
Monday-chest and the arms (bieceps, tricep and the fore arm)
Tuesday-Back and shoulder
Thursday-Chest and arms
Sat-Chest and arms
Also you workout program contains how many sets and reps you should go.
2)The same workout routine–
You can’t grow if you don’t challenge yourself. When you’re good at a particular set their is need for you to switch things up.Try something new.Either you go for more sets and reps or you go more heavy.Get out of your comfort zone.
3)Not training hard enough–
This is one thing people forget.Going to the gym is a serious deal. You’re not going in there for a sh*ty deal or flexing up.You are in there to sculpt out your dream shape. So more hard work should go in.
4)Measuring progress when sweating–
This is a bad move which will hinder your progress. You should measure your progress when you are done with your sets. That is why no (1) of this article is very important.Never measure progress by sweat.Measure when done with your sets.
5)Eating at the wrong time before and after workout–
Eat 30 minutes before workout and 30 minutes to 1 hour after workout. The before and after workout is also called preworkout and postworkout meal.
I do say the gym is a zone full of distraction.Keep the way you socialize in the gym at the lowest level.
What I mean by this is that, when you get to the gym,is all about less talk and more action. So don’t walk around looking for someone to chat with or let someone interrupt your workout with there’s.Get your head phone with your favorite music playing and stay focused.
7)Not asking for help–
Is not a big deal to ask for help.when you are not getting things right in the gym, don’t find it hard to ask for help.
Afterall ,you’re doing it for yourself. If you don’t ask for help when you need one, then there no chance of you to improve more.
8)Long rest in between sets-
Resting too long in between sets is not going to give you the results you are looking out to get.The muscle shouldn’t get cold when resting. You tend to lose the fun that comes with the workout A minute or 2 is ok and you keep on grinding.
9)Copying someone else–
Copying someone else will do you no good.Find what goes and is ok by you and go for it,let others do their’s.
10)Using the wrong weight and speed–
I always talk about putting tension on muscle.
Carrying big weight doesn’t mean you will get big.Your speed matters.Going too fast won’t get you nice pumps. When you push on the barbell, wait a second or 2 before dropping down. The contraction is very important. So find the right weight that is ok for you and give it your best.

11)Take a break off-
It nice to give the body a break to recover. This recovery period could be a few days or a week.Within this recovery period you can do alot.Treat yourself by eating well, getting enough rest. You can also make it more fun by traveling or going on tour..what ever you can do to make days off the gym fun is ok..After giving your body the enough rest then you bounce back to the gym and give it all you got.
Consistency is the key to get pass this mistakes. If you hit the gym
always and you’re focused, you will start to note and identify were you are getting it right and wrong during workout. There’s no magic behind it.
